Hello! This is me… Remi. I’m a guitarist and pickup maker based on the Barrington Coast in NSW. I fix guitars, build things, and play music.

I recently gave up my career as a software engineer so I could concentrate on doing something I love, rather than trying to fit into a corporate environment I was no longer enjoying. Yuk!

So I started winding guitar pickups and modifying Stratocasters. I love it.

At the moment, I’m mostly concentrating on Strats and single-coil pickups. I do like other types of guitar, but it makes sense to focus on a niche and build that properly before broadening my horizons. There’s a lot to keep me busy!

My work

I hand-wind my single coils in small batches, chasing that clean, airy, bell-like Strat tone I’ve always loved. I gig with the same pickups I sell, and I’m constantly tinkering with Strats. Don’t get me wrong, I also love pushing an amp harder when the moment calls for it.

I can and often do custom builds. If you want something specific, just get in contact. I love hearing about what other musicians want out of their guitars and how my builds are performing in other people’s hands.

Everything here is built, assembled, and tested by me before it ships.
